// March 18th, 2010 // No Comments » // General News
On Monday the 15th of March, Per started at his new kindie, the St. Michael's early learning centre. He's loving it and has settled in fantastically – we couldn't be happier.

The meaning of Christmas
// March 14th, 2010 // No Comments » // General News
Tania and Per were out on their bikes earlier when they passed an old Christmas tree lying by the side of the road. He turned to Tania and asked "Do you know what Christmas means?". Tania said "No" to which Per answered "It's when your whole family is in love". Aaaaaaah

Great!!! Per just told me I'm fat. When I said "Papi's not fat", he comes back with "Oh yes you are".

Per’s new school
// February 20th, 2010 // No Comments » // General News
Out of the blue we got a call from St. Michael's the other day, to say that a space had become available in the 4-year-old kindergarden. Yesterday we went for a look with Per and he loved it. It's a fantastic space and we're certain he's going to love it. He'll be starting in 3 weeks time.

Per’s first visit to the dentist
// February 8th, 2010 // No Comments » // General News
Today was Per's first visit to the dentist. He was pretty scared but soldiered through. He got to sit on the "astronaut chair" which magically went up when he was asked to squeeze the dentist's finger. He got to wear the dark sunglasses, got his toothbrush (on which the dentist engraved Per's name with a dental drill) and, to top it all, got to ask the dentist "are you a silly boy?".
The dentist was happy with the way Per's teeth looked though it's pretty certain that he'll require a bone graft to fix the cleft in his upper gum – not till he's much older though.
Needless to say, we're very proud of our brave little boy.
